The very first thing that sticks out about Samsung LN52A750 is its exterior look, which is nothing short of beautiful and just highlights any room in your house quite nicely. The huge glossy look of this LCD TV with the new exterior changes over the older Samsung LCD TV series’ makes it easily one of the most attractive and eye-catching pieces of electronics around.
The picture quality of the Samsung LN52A750 LCD is simply astounding as compared to some of the Sonys’ and Toshibas’ I have owned over the last 4 years, and it’s hard for me to imagine having to go back to watching one of those TVs if god forbid anything should ever happen to this new baby. It’s on a whole different playing field in terms of color, clarity, sharpness and overall video quality.
The software inside the TV is plentiful and I could get just lost like the nerd that I am in the menus setting up and tweaking all the little features that you wouldn’t think about buying a television for. The audio is great standalone although I only tested it shortly before setting it up to my decent Samsung home theater system.
Would give this TV perfect ratings in all ways, although like I said I haven’t really tried the standalone sound quality for too much before hooking it up to the external 5.1 home theatre speaker system. A definite must for all people in the market for a brilliant 52 inch TV, a purchase albeit pricey that you simply won’t regret!
I have owned this set for about a month now, and even today, I get blown away when I watch it. The picture is absolutely magnificent. All colors are extremely vivid and lifelike. Rich in contrast and brightness, it gives you the illusion of being right there at the action, especially when viewing HDTV.
I hooked up my Panasonic TZ-5K camera to it today and was very pleased at how well the pictures were displayed. Everything on this T.V. is easy to hook up and to view. The menu’s are straight forward, and you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure them out.
I did a lot of viewing and research before purchasing this particular television, and to be quite honest, if I were to buy another one today, it would be the same one–nothing else would be considered. I’ve had several friends over the past month and they always ask, “what the heck kind of T.V. is that? I’ve never seen a T.V. with a picture like that on it.” Need I say more?…….
How is the reflection? Am considering this TV for a room with lots of windows.
The reflection can be quite annoying if you have any lights in front of this tv you will see a halo effect which is your light bouncing off the clear bezel. This same effect can be seen in the day with sunlight coming through your windows, so this tv could be problematic if you have a lot of windows. This has definitely been an issue with many, but mine is in the bedroom and I usually only watch it at night, and then I have turn off all of the lights.
